| 2010 TOURNAMENT PLAYER INFORMATION |
| TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE Tournament Dates: June 15-18, 2010 Practice Rounds: June 14, 2010 MANDATORY PLAYER'S REGISTRATION Player registration will begin at 12 Noon Pacific Time on Monday June 14th at the Golf Course - Tournament Office. Registration information, tee prizes and Round 1 and 2 starting times will be distributed during this time. All players must register in-person PRIOR to 6 PM on Monday June 14th. YOU MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE TO REGISTER AND GET STARTING TIME INFORMATION. |
| HOST HOTEL(S) INFORMATION Sycuan Golf Resort (Located adjacent to the golf facilities) The hotel has graciously extended a special rate to stay at the resort during the tournament. Room rate of $149.00 per night Additional hotel options are now being finalized - please check back. | PLAYER TRANSPORTATION All player are responsible for their own transportation during the tournament. The SWGA is currently working on travel discounts to and from the San Diego airport. |
| TRAVEL INFORMATION/DIRECTIONS The local airport for this year's tournament is San Diego International Airport which is located about 20 minutes from the resort and host hotel. |
| HOUSING INFORMATION
The Tournament Committee may have a limited number places for player housing for this year's tournament. If you are interested in Player Housing near the golf course, please contact the SWGA immediately at swamateur@cox.net. Players are still required to provide their own transportation to/from the golf course daily. |
| DAILY LUNCHES The tournament committee will provide lunches for all players on Tuesday and Wednesday Only. Lunches during or after Rounds 3 and 4 will be at the players expense. |
| PRACTICE ROUND SET-UP Player practice rounds are available on Monday June 14th between 6:30 am and 1:30 pm. This practice round golf only is at the expense of the Tournament Committee. All other practice expenses are at the players expense. Tee times for practice rounds are made on a first-come, first serve basis by calling the golf shop directly at 619-219-6044. |
| CADDIES/CART USAGE Caddies are permitted during the Southwestern Amateur. Players are all encouraged to walk during the event, but players may utilize motorized transportation for an additional cost of $14 per player. Only 2 carts are permitted per group, so players have priority over caddies. Carts can be rented from the golf facility |
